Meizu Music Card

The Meizu Music Card, also named Meizu M3, is Meizu's latest digital audio player, set to be released before the end of the second quarter of 2007.

Meizu's Music Card is like the little brother of Meizu Mini Player. It is smaller in all ways, size-wise, function-wise and price-wise. It is for those that do not need all those speical features such as Video playback in an audio player. For some people, good quality audio listening is enough to satisfy.

By looking at Meizu Music Card pictures, one can see that it clearly borrows some cues from the iPod nano.

Meizu M3 Latest News

NEW! As of the week of 26th March, the Meizu Music Card is officially released in China.

The Meizu M3 was set to be released in early March 2007, but as of now it has not been seen.

Since announcing the Music Card, Meizu has changed the dimensions a little. They decided to cut some height and add some width (not thickness) to the M3. Many argue this is a good point as it will resemble an actual "card" more and also look less like an iPod Nano!

The second thing that Meizu has changed is the back plate. Before, it was a glossy aluminum reflective back. Now, it is going to be of black tinted metal for that extra sleek look!

Finally, something else that might be delaying the Meizu M3 might be the fact that they are currently having a competition in their forums for designing a front and back faceplate for the Music Card. It is clear that the M3 will support back plates. This is similar to the stickers we saw earlier for the Creative Zen Neeon. This adds yet another nice touch to this greatly anticipated player!
